This bird had its eye damaged, and was brought to the Mountsberg Raptor center a few years ago. They got him back in shape, but he could never see out of his right eye. I host photography workshops at Mountsberg, we use these models as subjects, while I teach the techniques and ideas for creative bird photography., so, a long story short, this is a captive bird, all natural light, as I never use flash for nature, no saturation in my post processing, or even vibrance., just a crop, slight contrast boost, small titch of sharpening, and its a wrap! Sadly we lost Hutton earlier this year, so my regards to all the great bird handlers up there in Milton, Ontario. by Raymond Barlow
